Power Skating is a key tool to every hockey player. It does not matter how young or how old you are or if your an amatuer player or even a professional player, power skating is an essential part of hockey.
To be a successful skater is to be a strong skater not only physically but also mentally and emotionally. 90% of hockey is skating with that comes the physical and mental endurance. Skating is one of the most unnatural movements for our bodies to execute, so it's extremely important to train and practice proper technique and your basic foundation and fundamentals of skating. Power skating will build strong skaters from the ground up using basic techniques in skating to more advanced techniques and drills, while practicing mental and emotional endurance.
This season my goal is to help make players not only physically stronger as skaters but also mentally and emotionally stronger as well.
I am very excited to be a part of the Runners this season and am looking forward to working with all the players and teams and helping them make it a successful season.
